Day 11: Pre-Show (Never too late for 1st rehearsal)

After a morning of finishing the wee bog-man, butoh dancer Diana arrives, as does saxophonist Matthieu, mere hours before presentation.  The united group launches into a pre-show improvisational run-through of the outlined “structure”.

Day 9: Post mass-creation disaster

Plaster hand moulds and latex casts; more rice-paper masks; and the first incarnation of Julia.

Dominique explores movement with the new dancer, and Matt begins the full Nori-paper puppet made from sushi seaweed.
